Then I would roughly remove the pouring gates, use a clipper for smaller gates, use a saw for bigger gate, remove them 2mm away from the parts, don't cut flush against the parts.
Don't throw away all of the leftover gates, these material can be used to fix broken edges and tips, since they are of the same material, their shrinking rate would be the same. I'll explain in details later.
Now every parts are off the gates. I can have them organized and sorted into boxes.
I put big and heavy pieces in one box;
medium sized pieces in one box;
thin and wide pieces in one box,
and small pieces in one box. Finally a bag for some really tiny pieces like the face to avoid misplacing.
At this stage there is no need to bag every parts since there will be more cleaning and sanding later.
